Say good buy to store bought windows cleaners coming in plastic bottles that pollute our planet and are filled with ammonia, ethanol, isopropyl alcohol, methanol, etc. Do you want to breath that 💩? Me neither.
Here is a simple and efficient recipe that you can make at home today!
1. You need a bottle. I prefer a glass spray bottle. I love this one from Amazon because it has a powerful well made spray that will last long and it came in zero waste packaging. Remember it is always better to repurpose what you already have. Even if you do not have a spray bottle, even if it is made out of plastic you can always just wet an old rag you dedicate for this purpose especially if you are doing mirrors and small surfaces. For larger surfaces like windows, shower doors, etc. IÂ prefer using this stainless steel squeegee.
2. Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup of water
- 1 1/2 cup of white vinegar
- 8-9 drops of your favorite essential oil (I used 3 drops of each: lemon, bergamot, orange)
THATS IT! No need for disposable gloves while cleaning your windows neither! Try it ;) It does the job extremely well. Let me know in the comments section what do you think. Follow us on Instagram for more tips.Â
